Saxophonist Usmansax Releases New Single "Echo of Eden", Now Streaming

The latest single from the forthcoming album Rebirth turns the saxophone into a storytelling voice, inviting you into a space of calm, reflection and renewal.

The track is a contemporary instrumental recording built around one melodic idea: the search for a place of calm. Released on 4 September 2026, "Echo of Eden" is the latest single from Rebirth, Usmansax's forthcoming album due later in 2026, and it is out now for listeners across the UK and beyond.

The title sets the tone. "Eden" carries ideas of beauty, peace and a place untouched by loss, while "echo" suggests something remembered rather than fully present. Together they frame the single as a musical journey towards that place, with the saxophone as its guide. Usmansax's approach to instrumental music draws on his time on stage and on the years he spent living in China. That period shaped his earlier single "Hépíng", which takes its name from the Mandarin word for peace and grew out of an encounter in Suzhou in 2018. "Echo of Eden" picks up the same thread and carries it somewhere new. His playing brings together smooth jazz phrasing, the warmth of soul and R&B, and rhythmic ideas from Afrobeats and modern pop, and here that mix sits in a quieter register, with a warm tone, a steady pulse and a melody that lingers after the track ends. There are no lyrics and none are needed. Following "Hépíng" on an album called Rebirth, the single suggests renewal without spelling it out, and leaves each listener to decide what Eden means to them.
