Poland Sees Steady Unemployment Rate in November
Data from the Central Statistical Office revealed that the total number of registered unemployed edged up to 873,600 in November from 867,300 in October. At the same time, newly registered joblessness fell to 93,000, down from 114,600 the previous month.
“October and November readings marked the highest unemployment rate recorded so far this year,” the data indicated, with analysts pointing to seasonal factors as a key driver. Temporary employment typically drops as winter approaches, affecting overall job figures.
The report also highlighted a persistent structural challenge: long-term unemployment remained high, with nearly 47.4 percent of registered unemployed out of work for an extended period.
